Columbus Ohio Short North Wedding Venue Visit - Le Meridien Columbus, The Joseph
I was so thrilled to visit the hotel and venue, Le Meridien Columbus, The Joseph during their Wedding Experience Open House at the beginning of February. I'd been interested in the hotel because of it's modern design and iconic artworks since it opened a few years ago. Since then, I've followed their social media updates. So when I found out they were hosting an open house I knew I had to visit. J. Luis graciously accompanied me and we spent the afternoon meeting wonderful wedding and event professionals, touring the hotel's gorgeous modern event spaces accented with lovely floral centerpieces and other arrangements from Orchard Lane Flowers, visiting their luxe spa/ wedding suites fully equipped with floor to ceiling windows and a soaking tub - which I totally fell in love with, and of course we tried a few of the delicious dishes prepared by their catering partner The Guild House all while sipping a little raspberry champagne and a cocktail made with gin created exclusively for The Guild house. It was all so divine.
I also spoke with Austin, the Executive Administrator and Sales Coordinator for Le Meridien Columbus, The Jospeh and asked her to share a little about what makes this hotel so unique. You can read her answers below:

What makes it a unique choice as a wedding venue?
Our luxurious premier space features desirable views overlooking the Short North from a wall of 12’ floor to ceiling windows. The ballroom can accommodate up to 160 guests for receptions with a dance floor and DJ. The Art Gallery, featuring a rotating collection of original one-of-a-kind local art from the Pizzuti Collection, is a perfect accompaniment to the ballroom for pre-function hors d’oeuvres and cocktail receptions. We are partnered with Cameron Mitchell’s Guild House for restaurant quality cuisine in a banquet setting. The chef will execute your menu with seasonal offerings that are regionally and globally inspired, all with artistic passion, attention to detail, freshness and flavor. This is elevated with an extraordinary level of service from our talented service team.
